Bio
For the past 16 years, Sim F has worked as a TV Commercial, Film Director and Music Video Director. He earned his bachelor’s degree in fine arts and design from the ITB’s Faculty of Fine Arts and Design in 2000.
Several awards have been given to him during his career as a director, including the Bronze Pinasthika Award for Telkomsel Halo Fit, Terdahsyat Music Video for Peterpan’s “Walau Habis Terang,” Rolling Stone Magazine Best Music Video for Peterpan’s “Menghapus Jejakmu,” Silver Award for Animation and Special Effects in Citra Pariwara for Sony HiFi’s “Noisy Neighbor,” and MTV Best Music Video for Project Pop’s “Jangan Ganggu”.
Sim F made his directorial debut as a biographical feature film director in 2018. The film “Susi Susanti – Love All”, which premiered in Indonesian theatres in 2019, tells the story of badminton legend Susi Susanti. The movie garnered 13 nominations at the 2020 Indonesian Film Festival, including one for Best Film.
